노자의 말

 

 

가장 완전하게 이루어진 것은 부족한 듯 보이나 아무리 사용해도 망가지지 않는다.

가장 충만한 것은 비어 있는 듯 보이나 아무리 사용해도 바닥을 드러내지 않는다.

정말로 곧은 것은 굽어있는 듯 보이고 정말로 뛰어난 솜씨는 오히려 서툰 듯 보인다.

It seems that what has been done most completely is lacking, but no matter how much you use it, it does not break.

The fullest seems empty, yet no matter how much it is used, it never runs dry.

What is truly straight may appear crooked, and what is truly skillful may rather seem clumsy.
