횡재가 아니다

 

 

아들이 급하게 뛰어오며 말했어요.

“엄마, 엄마, 옆집에 호박이 덩굴째 굴러 떨어졌어요.”

그러자, 엄마가 말했어요.

“그래, 무슨 좋은 횡재가 생겼구나.”

그 말에 아들은 손을 저으며 말했어요.

“횡재가 아니라 떨어진 그 호박에 그 집 아들이 깔려 죽었어요.”

It's not a windfall

 

 

My son ran in a hurry and said.

"Mom, mom, next door, there was a pumpkin rolling down the vines."

Then, my mom said.

"Yes, some good windfall has been made."

At that, my son shook his hand and said.

"It wasn't a windfall, but the pumpkin that fell overkilled the son of that house."
