지혜 주머니

 

 

세상에 나가서 네가 존중받을 자격이 있다는 걸 사람에게 보여주길 바란다.

가난했던 젊은 시절 내게는 없었던 다음의 두 가지를 너에게 주마.

 

하나는 황금 주머니,

다른 하나는 ‘황금의 법칙‘이 새겨진 점토판이지.

이제 너의 길을 떠나길 바란다.

I hoped you could go out into the world and show people you deserve respect.

I'll give you the following two things I didn't have in my poor youth.

 

One is a golden pocket,

The other is a clay tablet with the ‘Golden Rule’ on it.
