그리운 것은 죽지 않는다

 

 

당신은 꺼지지 않는 횃불인 줄 알았는데

바짝 타오르고 볼품없이 꺼져버리는 성냥이었다.

아니면 제 마음대로 켰다 끌 수 있는 라이터였던가?

 

어느 쪽이든 나는 큰일이다.

정신 못 차릴 정도로 새빨갛게 데어버렸으니.

I thought you were a torch that didn't go out.

It was a match that burned up and went out without looking.

Or was it a lighter that I could turn on and off as I wanted?

 

Either way, I'm in big trouble.

I burned it so red that I couldn't get it out of my mind.
