그 옛날의 여자

 

 

저 두 눈

나를 바라본다

 

나는 못 본 척 책장을 넘긴다

 

나는 그 옛날의 여자다 되기로 했다

하이힐을 신고 밥을 하고 나물도 무쳤다

여전히 그 눈빛을 못 본 척 책장을 넘겼다

가자미도 구웠다

 

전화가 울렸지만 받지 않았다

 

커튼을 열어젖혔다

 

빛이 길게 돌아왔다

그림자에 붙은 미역줄기는 뜯어내 버렸다

 

이야기가 이어지는 책장 사이에서

 

저 두 눈이

나를 바라본다

 

나는 고인돌 속으로 들어간다

Those two eyes

Look at me

 

I turn over the pages pretending I didn't see it

 

I decided to be the woman of the old days

I put on high heels, cooked rice, and seasoned vegetables

Still, I turned over the page as if I hadn't seen that look

I grilled flounder, too

 

The phone rang but didn't answer

 

I opened the curtain

The seaweed stalk attached to the shadow was ripped off
